I am finishing up my entry for this months theme, I started late and changed the direction three times but here is the wire. I wanted to have a stone monument of a little sister with rapture city outside the window and of course the big daddy not too far off.

So Texas had a snow day last Thursday! Not our usual snow for an hour and gone by lunch or ice but a really full day of snowing. So being freelance I could take off in the snow and take pictures. This was one day I couldn't just stay in doors. So I thought it would be great to take pictures of the snow on graveyard statues a great contrast opportunity. I wanted to head to Forth Worth for the angel statues but the roads were bad because drivers here freak out in rain or snow.Not wanting to chance it I stayed with a closer Dallas cemetery instead. In the Photolog under photos I posted a view shots. I have some more but still adjusting the rest, but enjoy what came from my snow day.

I wish everyone Valentines Days Good wishes (yes I mean days). A time to give little tokens to friends, family, and all love ones. I have fond memories of my father who always gave me a card and candy every valentines day & after he died 12 years ago I still remember him every year and smile thinking of all the good memories of him. I still have most of those cards he gave me over the 20 years I knew him. I thought the first valentines day after he was gone would have been tough but as I sat in my one bedroom house far from home at college surrounded by boxes a friend showed up at my door with a card and some candy. That friend may have not known my father or about our tradition but then I realized that I would still love the this holiday and I will always remember my farther and those that pass along our lives to bring us a smile.
